It's the end of the line for an icon. Clad in custom bronzed-gold paint, the final current-generation Dodge Viper rolled off the assembly line on Thursday at a Detroit factory. The last one was tailored to the tastes of a loyal Viper owner, D'Ann Rauh, who with her husband, Wayne, owns more than 40 Vipers.

We actually had the reveal of the Bentley Continental GT3 at the Paris Motor Show last year, but at the time details and specifications were a bit thin on the ground, and Bentley were calling it a ‘Concept’. But now, with the Continental GT3 strutting its stuff at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and ready to play, Bentley has seen fit to tell us how much power the GT3 has, and how much weight it’s shed. Remarkably, the Continental GT3′s weight is a substantial 100kg less than the road-going GT, weighing it at an almost lightweight 1300kg.
Volkswagen Cross Coupé Concept at Tokyo
Volkswagen to debut the VW Cross Coupe Concept at the Tokyo Motor Show, a compact hybrid SUV that’s smaller than a Tiguan and bigger than a golf. Volkswagen are taking the VW Cross Coupe to the Tokyo Motor Show this week, and it looks a bit like they’ve taken inspiration for their new car from every successful current car niche, in the hope the cross coupe will strike a chord with buyers. From the name – which VW used for the concept version of the Q3 – to a bit of SUV, a small dose of swoopy coupe all wrapped up in a crossover, the Cross Coupe appears to be conceived to be all things to all car buyers.
